Ella C, who left last year, has just been selected to play for the Bradford Bulls Women’s team! Her standout performances while playing for West Bowling have led to her selection for the women’s team.
Teigan R, who also left last year, has been selected to take part in an England Rugby League Diploma in Sporting Excellence. The pathway aims to train individuals to enable them to play at the highest level and, hopefully, go on to represent the country. Only thirty girls are selected each year!
We are very proud of both girls, who only started playing rugby four years ago! What an inspiration for any girls wanting to get into rugby — it’s never too late to start a new sport!
